TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AGREEMENT
OF SALE
Please read the following document carefully.
1. General
The use of this site is subject to the Terms
And Conditions Agreement of Sale set forth below.
Your use of this site or placement of an order from BUY 24-7
is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. It is
important you read and fully understand this document prior
to placing an order.
BUY 24-7 reserves the right to make changes to this web site
and the terms and conditions at any time without any prior
notice.
2. Definitions
Customer is the person or organisation
who purchases or seeks services from BUY 24-7; and is also
referred to in this document as "you" and "your".
Third Party Address means an address other
than the Customer's registered address.
OZ BUY 24-7 Online is the trading name of the service provider
VTS Group Pty Ltd ABN 60 110 042 914, and is also referred
to in this document as "BUY 24-7", "us"
and "we".
3. Logon Name and Password Confidentiality and
Liability
It is the responsibility of the Customer to protect and
authorise the use of user ID and passwords. BUY 24-7 will
not take responsibility for Customer user ID and password
protection and use.
Customers please note: all orders require full payment
before shipment can be made. In the unlikely event that
an order is fraudulently placed on your account, please
inform the staff at BUY 24-7 immediately email
us. Upon receipt of such notification from a Customer,
BUY 24-7 will:
a. if an order has not been processed, cancel the order-;
b. if an order has been shipped, the Customer must arrange
for the return of the item(s) to email
us.
It is the responsibility of the Customer to immediately
notify the Customer's relevant criminal investigation authority
of any fraudulent or unauthorised activity on their account.
BUY 24-7 will use best endeavours to assist the investigation
as far as practically possible.
4. Pricing Information
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars ($AUD) and is
inclusive of a goods and services
tax (GST), which is of 10 per cent of the price of the item.
All prices listed on the BUY 24-7 website apply only for
orders placed via the BUY 24-7 website.
BUY 24-7 reserves the right to vary prices in the event
of price changes or mistakes without prior notice.
5. Placing Orders
Methods of Placing Order
Orders may be placed by Customers using the following methods:
a. direct links on our BUY 24-7 website;
b. via direct email to our BUY 24-7 staff email
us
c. via facsimile +61 2 9748 2121.
Customers please note: For orders not placed direct
via our BUY 24-7 website, the following details, as a minimum,
must be included:" customer name and contact details;
" item number, quantity ordered and price of each item;
" total price (inclusive of GST); and
" a cheque, money order or receipt of direct deposit
or electronic funds transfer.
This ensures that orders are processed in an accurate and
efficient manner.
Stock
Customers please note, not all items displayed on the BUY
24-7 website are in stock. In the event that an ordered
item is not in stock, an estimated time of arrival (ETA)
for the ordered item will be made available to you following
processing of the order.
Cancellations
Cancellation of a placed order will only be accepted within
3 days from date of the order being submitted to BUY 24-7.
BUY 24-7 reserves the right to refuse a cancellation.
If a cancellation is made after an item has been shipped,
the Customer must reimburse BUY 24-7 for the cost of:
a. the shipping and handling charges to the Customer; and
b. the shipping and handling costs for return of the package
to BUY 24-7; and
c. any all other costs incurred by BUY 24-7.
Cancellation - Software
Software that has been opened and registered are not refundable.
6. Payment
Accepted Payment Methods
a. direct deposit into the nominated BUY 24-7 account;*
b. electronic funds transfer (EFT);*
c. money order;*
d. bank cheque (no personal cheques accepted);* and
e. credit card(we only accept Visa and Master card, but
there is a 2 percent surcharge on all credit charge purchases).
* We recommend and prefer direct deposit, EFT, money order
and bank cheques (asterisked above). These are the best
payment methods for security purposes.
Payment via Bank Cheque, Money Order, EFT or Direct Deposit
All bank cheques or money orders are to be made payable
to "VTS Group Pty Ltd".
For direct deposit or EFT, please deposit funds into the
nominated account below (or the account as notified by the
BUY 24-7 website from time to time):

Customers please note:
" Ordered item(s) will not be despatched until BUY
24-7 receive notification that the funds for payment have
cleared.
" Direct deposits and EFTs will take approximately
24 to 48 hours for funds to clear.
" Bank cheques will take approximately 2 to 3 days
to clear.
When paying via a direct deposit or EFT into the BUY 24-7
account, the Customer must include the following details
as the deposit reference:
a. your name; or
b. pro forma invoice number or user-id as the deposit reference.
The Customer must send a copy of the deposit slip or receipt
of EFT, as the case may be, to BUY 24-7 via:
a. facsimile +61 2 9748 2121; or
b. e-mail us.
Pick up Orders
For a pick up order, payment must be cleared before BUY
24-7 can issue the Customer a notice the ordered item(s)
is ready for collection.
Credit Card payment
All orders paid via credit card will incur a surcharge
of 2 per cent surcharge to the total of the ordered item(s).
Credit card payments will be completed via Paypal. Please
ensure you are informed of the total cost before accepting
payment via credit card for an order.
Shipping
To ensure security and receipt of the ordered item(s), BUY
24-7 will not ship to the following addresses:
a. post office boxes; or
b. address that is not registered with BUY 24-7.*
* If a Customer requests delivery to a Third Party Address
please do so in writing via email
or facsmile on +61 2 9748 2121.
Customers are responsible for paying all freight charges
incurred for refused shipment and unclaimed goods. BUY 24-7
will use best endeavours to deliver on time, however BUY
24-7 is not liable for delay or lost shipment.
Customers are responsible for ensuring a signatory is available
to accept and confirm receipt at the delivery address. The
Customer must reimburse BUY 24-7 for costs for all redelivery
attempts if the delivery address is unattended at the time
of first delivery.
7. Return and Refund
Returns for refund must be made within 3 days of the Customer
receiving the ordered item. The Customer must specify, on
return of the item(s), reasons for return for refund.
The Customer must report any incorrect, missing or damaged
item(s) received to BUY 24-7 within 24 hours of receipt
of the item(s). The Customer must notify BUY 24-7 by:
a. +61 2 9648 3222; or
b. email
BUY 24-7 reserves the right to refuse a return for refund
request.
The return for refund policy does not apply for:
a. Customer's change of mind; or
b. incorrect installation (due to lack of expertise); and
c. did not meet Customer expectation,
but in certain circumstances, the branch manager may, in
his/ her absolute consider a refund on a case by case basis.
The refunded amount, subject to other deductions set out
below, is the price of the refunded item as specified at
the time of the placement of an order.
For certain items, a restocking fee ranging from 10 per
cent to 20 per cent of the purchase price of the item, will
be charged.
Returned goods must be in its original condition and include
all the original packaging. Any item that is not sealed
must be replaced at the Customers expense. For example,
a printer which has had its inks removed and installed into
the printer, will require the Customer to purchase a new
set of inks prior to returning the item to BUY 24-7.
Shipping and handling cost are the responsibility of the
Customer. Please refer to the warranty section for refund
procedures regarding Dead On Arrival goods.
If item(s) delivered is not what was ordered, the Customer
must not open the sealed package in which the incorrect
item was sent.
The following will be taken to be acceptance of the incorrect
item(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the ordered item(s)
by the Customer and no further claim can be raised thereafter:
a. opening of the sealed packaging of the incorrect item;
or
b. use of the incorrect item.
BUY 24-7 owns the title of any incorrect or additional
item(s) delivered with your order that have been despatched
in error except for deemed acceptance items. The Customer
must:
a. immediately notify BUY 24-7 via email;
and
b. return such item(s) to BUY 24-7 within 48 hours of receipt
of the item(s). BUY 24-7 will reimburse the Customer for
the costs of shipping and handling for return of such item(s)
sent in error.
Customers must request a Return Authorisation (RA) number
prior to returning any merchandise to BUY 24-7. A RA number
is deemed effective for only 5 days including the day of
issue. A RA number can be obtained by e-mailing our support
staff. RA numbers are only issued when BUY 24-7 considers
that the item(s) is faulty from the descriptions provided
by the Customer.
Warranty Claim
All items sold under the Clearance Sale Category
have no warranty.
Excepting for Clearance Sale Category item(s), all goods
sold by BUY 24-7 come with a one year back to base manufacturer
warranty, unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.
All warranties are not transferable.
Items under warranty cover will be replaced or repaired,
as the case may be, by the manufacturer of the particular
item in question. Where an item is under the warranty period,
there will be no refund under any circumstances.
The warranty cover is only applicable for the item(s) sold
by BUY 24-7. The warranty does not cover any other equipment
used in conjunction with the item(s) sold by BUY 24-7. For
example, if a SD card was purchased from BUY 24-7, then
only the SD Card is covered by the warranty and not any
equipment used in conjunction with the SD card.
Where the manufacturer accepts direct warranty claims from
customers, BUY 24-7 will not handle the warranty claim for
those items.
Dead on Arrival Items
Items which are not operational or functional for the item's
specified purpose on arrival, known as dead on arrival (DOA)
items, are eligible for replacement.
DOA items must be reported to BUY 24-7 via email
within 3 days from receipt of the item(s). Failure to report
a DOA item within 3 days will result in deemed acceptance
of the item by the Customer. This is particularly important
for printers, monitors etc where the manufacturers have
strict guidelines.
Refunds for some items will be at the current market price
- not at the original purchase price. This is due to rapid
depreciation of computer/electronics part costs.
Customers must request a Return Authorisation (RA) number
prior to returning any merchandise to BUY 24-7. A RA number
is deemed effective for only 5 days including the day of
issue. A RA number can be obtained by e-mailing our support
staff. RA numbers are only issued when BUY 24-7 considers
that the item(s) is faulty from the descriptions provided
by the Customer.
A large percentage of returned items are found to be not
faulty. If the returned items are determined by BUY 24-7
to not be faulty, the Customer must wear the costs for all
returning shipping fees. BUY 24-7 also reserves the right
to charge the labour cost for examining these items where
no actual fault was found. The standard charge for assessing
and returning a non-faulty component is approximately AUD$30.00
(depending on the item being assessed).
All warrantees are voided if the returned item(s) is found
in any way to have been mishandled, misinstalled, modified,
tampered, abused, physically damaged or used under wrong
voltage etc.
BUY 24-7 is not responsible for data contents or the security
of the data contents contained in any returned item(s).
Customer please note: BUY 24-7 workshops work under strict
guidelines, not to intercept with any Customer data. It
is, however, impossible to say that your data is 100% safe
at any time.
We strongly recommend Customers back up all data prior
to sending a faulty item to BUY 24-7 for assessment. Data
may be lost or destroyed during testing, re-formatting etc
of item(s). It is also beyond the scope of our control once
the faulty item(s) is sent to our manufacturer.
BUY 24-7 may, at its absolute discretion, at the request
of the Customer to backup the data on a faulty item(s) prior
to a service job. This service will incur a standard labour
fee of $20 AUD.
When returning a faulty item(s) under warranty, the Customer
must also attach the following:
a. a copy of the original invoice or provide the original
invoice number; and
b. a completed fault description sheet.
For RA returns, the Customer is responsible for:
a. proper packaging of the returned item (all warranties
will be void on items that are insufficiently or inaccurately
packaged); and
b. all the shipping and handling charges associated with
returning the defective item(s).
If any item(s) returned under warranty claim is determined
to be physically damaged, the item(s) will be returned to
the customer as is. All drivers and packaging must accompany
items returned.
Customers please note: BUY 24-7 recommend Customers to
not destroy any boxes they receive with new computers. In
the event of a fault or warranty claim, the boxes may be
essential for return to BUY 24-7 or the manufacturer, as
the case may be.
The Customer is responsible for any shipping and insurance
cost involved in returning the warranty claim goods to BUY
24-7. BUY 24-7 is not responsible for any item(s) missing
in transit, on its return back to BUY 24-7.
Item(s) discontinued by a manufacturer(s) shall be replaced
by a similar item or BUY 24-7 will issue the Customer with
a credit equivalent to the current market value or the purchase
price of the item, whichever is lower.
8. Warranty Turnaround Time
The turnaround time for a warranty claim is subject to the
manufacturer or supplier of BUY 24-7. BUY 24-7 will use
its best endeavours to ensure the fastest turnaround time.
Customers please note: the time involved for a warranty
claim will include:
a. time for BUY 24-7 to assess the item(s);
b. shipping of the item(s) to the manufacturer or supplier,
as the case may be;
c. the manufacturer or supplier's time to test and repair
or replace the item(s), as the case may be; and
the time taken for the manufacture or supplier to ship the
item(s) back to BUY 24-7.
Note, some suppliers, such as Seagate, are located overseas,
which may result in delays of over 4 weeks. In such cases,
however, at the absolute discretion of the manager, the
item may be replaced out of our own stock or Customers may
be given an option to upgrade the item at a reduced price.
BUY 24-7 does not provide advance replacement under any
circumstances.
BUY 24-7 is not responsible for any losses resulting from
the time it takes for the faulty item to be replaced or
repaired. The store manager may, however, at his/her absolute
discretion consider giving an immediate replacement for
the faulty item.
Customers please note: If you require an item(s) for mission
critical tasks, such as but not limited to:
a. running a business;
b. using it to prepare for an examination;
c. using it for a pre-organised game/ party etc,
you should consider purchasing it from a provider that
offers instant replacement or paying extra for an instant-replacement
warranty.
9. Disclaimer
BUY 24-7 reserve the right to withdraw any product advertised
on the BUY 24-7 website and change prices without prior
notice.
BUY 24-7 reserves the right to make changes and corrections
in prices, products, and specifications without prior notice.
Information contained on the BUY 24-7 webpages and in our
database is believed to be accurate and reliable at the
time of publishing. There may, however, be misprints, human
errors, and omissions.
Images displayed on the BUY 24-7 website are for illustrative
and informational purpose only. The actual products may
not be identical to the images displayed in connection with
an item for sale.
Hyperlinks (URL) provided throughout the BUY 24-7 product
pages can only be used as references only. The products
we carry are often not identical as the contents contained

trademarks of respective owners. The absence of a product
or service name or logo from this list does not constitute
a waiver of the respective owners' trademark or other intellectual
property rights concerning that name or logo.

PRIVACY STATEMENT
1. General Information
BUY 24-7 respects customer privacy and collects only access
information from its Customers by way of cookies.
Electronic forms which a Customer submits via email are
handled with the highest of security. Data is stored on
a password protected server which lies behind BUY 24-7's
internet firewall.
The BUY 24-7 website may contain links to websites operated
by third parties. BUY 24-7 make no guarantees regarding
how your information may be handled by third party websites.
2. Cookies
Most browsers allow you to set your own preferences about
whether or not to accept cookies, or which cookies to accept.
BUY 24-7 have a compact privacy policy, an industry standard
privacy protection functionality, which enables users to
have Medium-High Level Privacy settings while accessing
our website.
3. Use and Disclosure of Information
BUY 24-7 may use personal information from Customer emails
in order to:
a. provide you with information relating to BUY 24-7 products
and services that may be of interest to you, unless you
have previously advised us that you do not wish to be contacted
for that purpose;
b. maintain the operation and administration of, and purposes
in connection with, BUY 24-7 accounting; and
c. make investigations where BUY 24-7 suspects, or has
been notified, that fraud or unlawful activity has been,
is being or may be engaged in connection with a Customer
account.
BUY 24-7 will not disclose any of Customer personal information
to other party, unless the Customer has consented to such
disclosure.
All information gathered from the BUY 24-7 electronic forms
will not leave the premises of BUY 24-7 database at any
time.
4. How Customer emails and "Contact us"
messages are handled
BUY 24-7 reserves the right to store the content of any
email or "Contact us" message received from a
Customer. Any personal information contained in a Customer's
email or message will only be used or disclosed in compliance
with this
privacy policy. A Customer's email or message content may
be monitored by webmaster for maintenance purposes or where
email abuse is suspected.
5. Security
BUY 24-7 employs a number of mechanisms to protect the security
and integrity of your personal information.
Customers please note: While no data transmission over
the Internet can be guaranteed as completely secure, BUY
24-7 will use best endeavours to protect Customer information.
BUY 24-7 will take as much care as possible to protect Customer
information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modification
or disclosure.
BUY 24-7, however, cannot ensure or warrant the security
of any information a Customer transmits to BUY 24-7, and
any transmission of data is done so at the risk of the Customer.
Visitors to the BUY 24-7 website who do not agree with
these Terms and Conditions should not use the BUY 24-7 websites.
